When I turn on my computer it runs until it trys to boot up (like from disk or contained by dos etc.) then displays invalid system disk please insert disk within drive and hit any key. Also drive a: looks as if it is running the in one piece time, and no it does'nt stop. Whats wrong?
incorrect system disk durring boot up, whats wrong beside the computer?
take out anything is in your floppy or cdrom/dvdrom drives.. revision bios boot order if needed..
It could be you enjoy something in the disk or CD/DVD drive the BIOS is looking to boot, or a USB device is plugged surrounded by that is trying to boot. Another possibility could be a corrupt boot sector on the firm drive or the BIOS could not have the thorny drive listed as a bootable device.
Your complex drive is not being see. If it is a new rock-hard drive make sure it is set up as a stand alone disk or a master and not a slave. If it is an outmoded hard drive try unpluging your ribbon cable from the rear legs of the hard drive and replug it rear legs in. If you already made sure that you didn't hold anything in your floppy or cd drive and this didn't fix it you proberly hold a corrupted boot file on your concrete drive. Let me know if this didn't work and I will tell you how to repair this folder.
