Is 512 MB hit compatible for Pentium 3, 801MhZ, 60 GB HDD PC?

yes that amount is compatible....the ask is, what TYPE of ram is compatible. There is DDR, DDR2, SDRAM, etc and several other types. The path you can find out what TYPE of ram is compatible near your computer is to remove a stick of ram from your computer (first turn it off) consequently take it to staples or another workstation store and ask them. They can tell you. Or, if you know what you are doing, look on the stick of bump and it should tell you on it. If you are unsure, I'd still purloin it to staples or somewhere to be certain since you spend a lot of money. Also ask them how they know. They will report you.

You can also call your specific commerce company such as dell or gateway and they can tell you as all right.
your question is wrong

RAM and P3 hold no compatability issue

however RAM of P4 32 or P4 64 are different
yah it will be compatible
see....u compare the BUS speed of RAM, Mother Board and the Processor. Ask any technical individual at ur location. It can be any capacity RAM. But the BUS speed should contest.
