Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 vs. AMD Athlon X2 4200+?

They are something like the same price. Which one is better? I know the AMD one is better for games, but why?

Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 vs. AMD Athlon X2 4200+?

The AMD is better for games because AMD culture cannot deal next to the reality that the Core 2 Duos are superior, so they made that little rank up. The E6300 is slightly superior in most tasks. The authority is not huge, but still noticeable. There is with the sole purpose one area where on earth it really has a huge crest on the AMD, and that happens to be games. Yes thats right, games are where on earth the Core 2 Duos advantage is the biggest, progress figure. I'll provide some benchmarks.
INTEL CORE 2 DUO E6300 ABSOLUTELY!

It's even comparable near the FX-62.

The AMD Athlon 64's USED to be the best in gaming, since they be competing with merely the Pentium 4's.

Core 2 Duo is completely different from Pentium 4 architecture. It's a lot more restructured as well.

The E6300 uses closely less power too.
