the nic driver is not notorious while trying to re-image a panasonic toughbook cf-30 using a windows 2000 ris server. I hold tried to change the unattended folder and still no solution. please help.

Download the driver files for the computer (.inf,.sys,.cat).



Depending on how you hold RIS setup, you should have two descriptions: one for the default OS sign, and the other for the more specific image you want. Follow the steps below for both photograph folders.



At the same horizontal as the i386 folder of the RIS image, create a \$oem$\$1\Drivers\Nic folder structure.



Example: RemoteInstall\Setup\Eng\Images... of Image)\$oem$\$1\Drivers\Nic



Copy the driver files to this Nic folder. To be safe and sound, you can also copy them into that i386 folder.



Under the [Unattended] section of the answer database, make sure these lines are in that:

OemPreinstall = yes

OemPnpDriversPath = Drivers\Nic
The RIS build that you are using does not have the Drivers for the NIC surrounded by the Panasonic Tough-book. You can update the BIOS of the Panasonic and see if the RIS build recognizes it properly and installs. Other than this the solely option will be to create a trial RIS Build with the Driver information for the NIC inwardly the Panasonic Tough book. It may also be possible to use an external PCMCIA NIC that is supported by the RIS Build.
