i know its surrounded by the control panel somewhere but i dont know where. any impression?
In window xp ,where on earth can i find the autograph / get & model of my motherboard?
Download CPU-Z. It will tell you things give or take a few your computer you never knew. And its free.
You'll receive that from the bios screen that briefly appears when you turn on your computer (before the xp startup screen). You won't find this info inside xp.

goto control panel, and there should be a few option, and there should be an selection that says View System Information, you should click on that, and you should find what you are looking for
Start>Accesories>System Tools>System Information. It give you more hardware information then what is provided when you look contained by your control panel.
Try a software named Everest (google it), it tell you all you involve to know about your system. Hope you find this adjectives. Good luck.
You wont find your exact mobo specs in window. Download Belarc Advisor. It will give you details on everything on your PC.
Go into start, control panel, operation and maintanence , and then see important information about your notebook...will hopefully bring up all the details you requirement to know under system properties...
