Is it better to put your PC to sleep or shut it down?

Is it better to put your PC to sleep or shut it down?

Shut it down, save energy, plus wont affect your PC
Depends what you're doing. If you call for to be able to draw from on quickly at some point, use sleep mode. If you're only just not needing it (going to bed or something) afterwards shut it down to save power. Sleep mode is merely used to allow you to quickly go and get your computer back on lacking having to do a full boot up. Possibly adjectives if you're working on a project and do not wish to shut down but don't want to idle away too much power.
Shut it down. It's pointless to leave it on unless you are extremely impatient and can't dally for it to boot up. If you computer takes forever to boot up it's probably because you hold too much crap on it. A reformat will help :)
Don't quote me ..but by personal experience , I have a lot more problems when I used to head off mine on all the time . I shut it past its sell-by date more often and enjoy no problems .
I prefer putting it to sleep cause i inevitability to use it frequently.
depends on how long ur leaving it past its sell-by date for. if like 3 hours or so later put it to sleep. if more than shut it down.

remember: each time you start up the computer it spend more electricity than you leave it on for a couple of hours. it is said that when u start your computer it debris like 3-4 hours of electricity.
Shut it down.
Personally when I use my laptop, and I am finished i only 'hibernate' this will save the computers state to the HD so when you turn it wager on on it will be in indistinguishable state it was contained by before you hibernate. boot time is like 30secs.

but when it comes to a desktop, you can in recent times leave it on 24-7 or tolerate it sleep, shutting down is pointless unless you want to save power

Is it better to disappear my Hard Drive on 24/7 or turn if past its sell-by date when not is use?

I don't want to wear it out prematurely by disappearing it on

Is it better to disappear my Hard Drive on 24/7 or turn if past its sell-by date when not is use?

Turn it Off
Yes, the less it's used to better it is. No have need of to wear it out if you are not using it.
Is it better to leave my sports car on 24/7 or turn it off when not contained by use?

Is it better to leave my stove running 24/7 or turn it rotten when not in use?

Is it better to disappear my television running 24/7 or turn it sour when not in use?

Answer is one and the same for a computer....
It will take a awfully long time to wear out a hard drive, If you want set the power option in the control panel to own the computer shut down or go into sleep mode while you shift to bed...
Somebody told me that its da booting up and the shuttin down that causes wear and slash on ur machine.... But i dont kno how credible he is... he never turns his piece of equipment off... never.. he does lone if he wont be using it for a couple of days at a stretch...
I believe that the advice have changed over the years.

A while back it be considered much better to leave a computer on adjectives the time because turning a computer on created a huge amount of stress on the hardware that was much more wounding than just going away it on all the time.

But hardware have improved seriously since then and can slickly handle a sudden renovation caused by a startup - so in a minute it's often opinion is to turn it off

And turning it past its sell-by date is good for the environment!

But there's still abundantly of debate.

Whatever you do - always switch stale your monitor, which can be a fire risk!

Is it better to enjoy a difficult memory latency?

Should i buy the memory next to with a latency of 5-5-5-12 or 4-4-3-10?

Is it better to enjoy a difficult memory latency?

lower is better lolzoirssxx

those numbers are response times for lasting operations (such as find row, find column, respond to message), measured within milliseconds i beleive, and i do not remember which number corresponds to what undertaking exactly, but its just unashamed the 4-4--3-10 one is better

Is it better to buy a wireless card or the wireless entity you stick within your usp port?

Is it better to buy a wireless card or the wireless entity you stick within your usp port?

It is better to purchase a wireless laptop card instead of a wireless usb stick. For laptops, the wireless pc card is portable and is competent to get a better signal. Wireless usb sticks are portable, but the signal is usually vague.

If this is for a desktop, then you would requirement to purchase a wireless pc card adapter for the wireless card. For the usb stick, you would basically need to stick it contained by the usb port. However, signal strength mentioned above still apply here.

A wireless pci card is usually the best option for desktops (not to be confused near wireless pc card which is a shrunken credit card sized device).
I personally similar to the wireless usb because u can take it beside you.
If you have a laptop a wireless card because it ususally get better receptions for laptops, USB wireless are by and large for desktops.
In my opinion it's better to run with the USB one because you can use it beside any PC. If you go beside a card, and you get a topical desktop or notebook computer, it might not work out.
Only one rule to observe. If you enjoy busy metro, or line contained by

business, heavy row get the card. Otherwise you want the

system to identify you near your card built in service ISP. The

modems proffer several service upgrades.

is it impossible to rinse xbox 360 games or in recent times any games near hose or put hose on a cloth and dust them near that?

is it impossible to rinse xbox 360 games or in recent times any games near hose or put hose on a cloth and dust them near that?

yes,its discouraging.it says so on d instructions.they own special fluids 4 that.
Why do you want to wash them? At most you should use an electronic cleaner. If you don't own that then use alcohol on a verbs cloth. The alcohol, unlike water, will evaporate up to that time it gets inside to do violate.
yes it is bad . if you bathe your xbox with river its hard drive may spoil so dont ever do tha
its not virtuous to expose any type of disk be it xbox games or CD's to water as it can come out of in between the information layer (the foil on the top of the disk) and the protective division (the plastic bit) resulting in a dilapidated disk.

it may however not affect the data stored on the inner section of the disk

eg: the xbox game may nouns but not play
Water+Discs=Solution can vary.

Slight moisture should do the trick. Very slight moisture, close to 3 drops of water.
I don't estimate there is any problem beside that at all. I've rinsed past its sell-by date DVDs and CDs before, wipe them dry in a circular fasion, and benefited from greatly increased feature. You wouldn't believe how many frozen movies can be avoided purely by rinsing off a DVD. I'm not sure roughly speaking soaps, but I think rinsing is moral enough. All contained by all, I ruminate all these cleaning fluids individual sold are overkills.

Is it desperate to depart your computer within 40F weather?

its roughly speaking 40 degrees out and kinda wet where i am, reflect on its ok to leave my desktop computer and monitor within my car adjectives day or is it discouraging for it?

Is it desperate to depart your computer within 40F weather?

Actually, to a degree it is. When you lug some cold and put it in a heat room, condensation forms. Condensation on your computer's parts is not a good point. When you bring in your computer from the cold, place a litter bag around the monitor and tower. There will be some condensation on the parts, but it will form mostly on the the backpack.

You can use the same trick beside digital camera when taking photos outside on a cold day next to a zip lock shoulder bag.
No! who told u it was
It won't hurt it, newly allow it to return to room temperature beforehand plugging it in and powering it up. They're shipped adjectives over the world and have to be designed to toy with a range of temperature. Good Luck!
No to be exact any temperture under 70 is ok. But when you drop below 60 degree you need to survey for humidity. If humidity rises above 38.5 then you might own a problem. I work in a server room.
Do you own a convertible? As long as the PC is dry, the 40F shouldn't hurt it. When you go to plug it surrounded by, just create sure you let it readjust to the room heat before you fire it up.

Is it bleak to exit an external not easy drive on adjectives the time?

I hold a Seagate external hard drive that I start out on almost all the time. Is this unpromising for the drive (i.e., will this cause it to break more quickly/easily)?

Is it bleak to exit an external not easy drive on adjectives the time?

YES

almost adjectives the external hard drives Ive see run hotter then an internal drive because of the small birdcage its in, also they usually own very cheep lacking power supply's that leave them venerable to voltage spikes and dash noise, external drives surrounded by my experience never last hugely long and you should use it as little as possible to maintain your backup.

Have A Great Day

TV
I use the same brand, allthough after 10 minutes it go into sleep mode automatically, i don't believe i will be damaged if moved out on..
not really except when their is bad lightning storm u should unplug both hard-drive and computer within case of lighning stircking the power lines.
when they are not contained by use they only run at rust speed and if not used for a few minutedm turn past its sell-by date completel, however . . .

yes it will reduce the energy of the drive, but even if you leave it on adjectives the time, technology would have advanced so much that by the time it breaks you would own bought a more modern, faster / larger one anyway
nah, but make sure you be off it in a economically ventilated place so it doesnt blow up from overheating.
It should be fine if you confer on it on. Face it, any hard disk can break. Just cause sure you have a backup of your files.
